Tambo Valley Golf Course
The demanding 9 hole course, is set in a mature pine plantation surrounded by picturesque native mountains. With Junction Creek meandering down the valley the course is one of the finest in Gippsland.

Omeo Rodeo & G-bung Polo match
Omeo Rodeo (Easter Saturday). Rodeo riders come from across the country to compete in this traditional Easter Saturday event. A full program of events including bull riding, steer roping, barrel races and much more will keep everyone entertained from mid morn to sundown.

G-bung polo match (Easter Sunday). A great family day of entertainment and spirited riding displays based on the poem by Banjo Patterson. The cuff 'n' collar polo team herald from the city to challenge the g-bung team of skilled mountain horsemen in this epic action event staged in the front paddock of Victoria's largest cattle station - Cobungra.

Alpine Discovery Festival
The Alpine Discovery Festival is an annual event which promotes the area. The three day festival incorporates three of the year's most well known events; The Hinnomunjie Races, The Up-the-Creek Discovery Festival and the Tambo Valley Races. A tradition started in 2005, when the entire town of Swifts Creek and surrounding districts created scarecrows representative of the designer. Make sure to make this great event part of your Labour Day Weekend

Omeo Historic Museum
Maintained by the Omeo Historical Society, the Museum is open daily between 10 am and 2 pm including weekends and public holidays. The museum is housed in the old courthouse, and contains many artifacts of the regions history. Some of the fascinating paraphernalia include: Together the Historic Park is the only original Justice precinct still intact in Australia.
 
Ensay New Year's Day Sports
Fun day for the whole family. Activities include horse events, games, competitions, BBQ, bar facilities and raffle.
